On Sunday, Denise Wilkinson shared part of a letter that her parents, Dave and Gena Cleveland wrote as their farewell to our congregation. They are now living in Regina.
Jeremiah 29:11 is one of the most quoted verses in Scripture. It says 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare[a] and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

As we will miss our dear friends, let us not stop praying for them. Here is a copy of the full letter that Gena wrote:
Many years ago, Denise and Bill invited us to attend church with them at Cornerstone Free Methodist Church. I immediately felt the sincerity and welcoming spirit on the first time entering the front doors with Wilbert and Ewen smiling and shaking hands, and offering us coffee or tea. It’s so nice they still do that.
I felt blessed that initially we had Pastor Dan, Lisa and baby Wesley and then their twin girls. After several years, they moved on, but still remain in our hearts.
We were also blessed with getting Pastor Dyan, Chad and Noah. We all feel her presence, a kind and gentle lady who is helpful and speaks calmly from the heart. She tells corny jokes but we find her endearing and a motivational minister that encourages the congregation to participate in activities that empower us to recognize we are important and appreciated.
Pastor Dyan encourages us to pray for each other and provided five groups of names of our congregation, challenging us to pray for every person in one of the groups on one particular day and try and do 10 minutes of prayer for our church each day. I found myself saying a name and then with my eyes closed would see where they are sitting in church or visually image what they are doing while I pray for them. I am so grateful and thankful to know so many wonderful people. Thank you everyone for being a part of my life over so many years.
It seemed our home sold so fast once we listed it a second time and we did not have a place to move to. It was such a sweet gesture by Pastor Dyan and others at the Wednesday morning group at church, as we were offered a trailer, tent, or even camping in a back yard. We felt we needed to focus on finding a new home and thankfully we have a home now in Regina.
We truly miss Denise and Bill that were only a matter of a few short blocks from us, however thankful for Snapchat and emails. While Charlie lives in Saskatoon, we are fortunate that he and Rachel, his girlfriend, already stopped in for a visit as they attended a Roughrider game & were able to visit with his other grandparents as well. Jack and Abby still keep in contact from Lethbridge and are very thoughtful to send updates on what’s happening with them, along with pictures.
As I really didn’t get a chance to say goodbye to everyone, I wanted you all to know how much I appreciated knowing you and how grateful and thankful I am that we met. You are in my heart. Dave and I both are appreciative of the thoughts and prayers so many times that were given on our behalf due to health issues and each time through those prayers and the Grace of God we have been able to get through so many different and difficult life changing health conditions. God is good.
So many of you have overwhelmingly shown such wonderful support and kindness towards myself on many occasions throughout many years. The hug when needed, a smile or a wave or words of wisdom or just an act of kindness. I feel so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories that are etched into my heart.
Dave and I wish you all the best and send God’s Blessings to you all.
Sincerely, Gena and Dave

This is great news. Unfortunately, it could take months before there is an opening for that surgery. Let us surround Bobbi with our prayers: that there would be a miraculous opening for that surgery in a very short time frame.
Pray for Lois Borrowman: Pray for a quick sale of her house.

Reminder that we now have e-transfer as another way to give to the church. E-transfers go to etransfer@cfmcpa.ca Two things to remember when sending an e-transfer to Cornerstone. 1. The Security Question can be anything you like, but please ALWAYS make the Security Answer ilovemychurch (no spaces). 2. If you wish to give for a specific purpose just make a note of it in the message/comments box when you send the e-transfer.
You can also send a cheque to the church or donate during the service. 2200 – 15 Ave East . Prince Albert, Sk S6V 6J5.
Tithely is no longer an option to give to the church. If you want to give online, please use e-transfer.

Please remember to PRAY FOR OUR CONGREGATION. Be ALL IN FOR PRAYER. Below is a list of our congregants. I have divided them into five groups. My challenge is that we pray for every person in one of the groups on one particular day, AND that we try to do TEN MINUTES of prayer for our church each day. By following the schedule, we can make sure that everyone is prayed for during the week. If you notice someone missing from the list, please let Pastor Dyan know. If you would like to be added to the list, please let Pastor Dyan know. The power of prayer is amazing. Ephesians 6:18 says And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. As a pastor, it is my prayer that we all (myself included) fall in love with praying.
