Good evening, Church family.
Today’s art is brought to you by Chrissy Clark (frosty tree) and Blake Peters (golden sky). Our poem is by a contemporary American poet, Mitch Chase. I chose this poem because this Sunday is Palm Sunday.

Hosanna by Mitch Chase
“In the village,” said the Savior,
“Find a donkey that is tied,
On which no one else has sat.
Bring it so that I may ride.”
To the Master came the donkey,
Guided by the two he sent.
And they threw their cloaks upon it
Right before he climbed and went.
Toward Jerusalem he journeyed,
As the crowds were laying palms,
Shouting “Hosanna! Blessed is he
Who in the name of Yahweh comes!”
Then Pharisees commanded Jesus,
“Teacher, stop these words they shout!”
But Jesus said, “If they were silent,
Rocks themselves would still cry out.”
Good Friday Service is April 18 and is being hosted at Gateway Covenant Church (1500 – 15 Ave E) starting at 10:30 am. Light refreshments to follow.
There is a sign-up sheet for people to help out with refreshments and ushering at the Good Friday Service. We still need one block of cheese (sliced), two batches of grapes, washed and separated (or another similar fruit), three batches of dainties / cookies, two dozen hot cross buns (sliced). We also need two ushers. The sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the foyer.
Many people only come to church on Easter and Christmas. What a great opportunity to invite a friend for Easter. As part of the celebration of Easter, we will be having a light “continental breakfast” potluck before the service. Please consider bringing some extra snacks to share on Easter morning before the service, starting around 10:40.
Update on Noah’s Mission Trip. Noah was scheduled to go to Peru in a couple of weeks for a Mission Trip. On March 19, Peru declared a state of emergency due to a terrible and violent crime wave. Action International is the mission agency Noah is working with. Their contacts on the ground in Peru indicated that it is not safe for the mission team to go to Peru at this time. After much consultation, Noah will still be going on a mission trip as scheduled, but instead his team will be going to Costa Rica. They will be participating in similar activities in their new destination. Please pray for the team as they shift their focus.
Lenten Lunches take place Thursdays at noon at Calvary United Church. Lunch and a spiritual reflection, including music, will be offered by a different Church each week. A freewill offering for lunch will be collected and donated to a local charity. The final Lenten Lunch will be April 17.
Pastor Dyan and Chad will be on holidays the week of April 21 – 28 and will be travelling out of the province. There will not be an email update that week. In case of emergency, please contact Verda Graham (Board Chair).
Scrapbooking takes place Thursday evenings. Bible Study begins at 6:45, followed by Scrapbooking at 7:30. Note: there is no Scrapbooking on April 17 or 24th.
Sunday School for all ages from 10am to 10:40 am. Note: there is no Sunday School on Easter Sunday and April 27.
Tuesday morning Bible Studies at 9:30.
Remember that there is Wednesday morning Prayer time at 9:30. A coffee time begins at 10:00 – everyone is welcome.

Please continue to pray for others in our church with health issues.
Pray for the people in our congregation, or people who are connected with those who are struggling with mental health issues, particularly with anxiety and depression. Pray that they would receive the medical help needed during these difficult diagnoses and treatment. Pray that they would hear the encouragement of our Saviour over dark thoughts.
Pray for the Prodigals in our lives – that they will remember the goodness of the Father’s House and come home.
Let us pray that our congregation will grow, and that we will be able to attentively meet the needs of our visitors and regular attendees alike.

Reminder that we now have e-transfer as another way to give to the church. E-transfers go to etransfer@cfmcpa.ca Two things to remember when sending an e-transfer to Cornerstone. 1. The Security Question can be anything you like, but please ALWAYS make the Security Answer ilovemychurch (no spaces). 2. If you wish to give for a specific purpose just make a note of it in the message/comments box when you send the e-transfer.
You can also send a cheque to the church or donate during the service. 2200 – 15 Ave East . Prince Albert, Sk S6V 6J5
PRAYER TOOL. In a church our size, it is quite “normal” for people to sit in certain seats. For 2025, let’s use a mental seating chart to pray for everyone. Each day, think / visualise a certain row(s) of seats in the sanctuary, and who normally sits there. Pray for those people.
Then, think of the empty chairs in the sanctuary. Let us pray that they will not be empty for long.
I am still including the names of everyone to make sure that no one is missed. Let us continue to be ALL IN FOR PRAYER. 1 Timothy 2:1 says I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.
NOTE: If you are not on this list but would like to be, please let Pastor Dyan know.
